Keep a prayer in your heart all day long and converse with the Lord. There are lots of posts in this blog that show how to do this. Everybody I knew that has done this says that it has improved their lives in ways they never thought possible. You can discover Christ's personality by conversing with Him, just as this post suggests.

You might also discover through your conversations that the Lord is preparing you for more. Ask Him to show you what you need to learn to prepare. He may also speak promises to you that comfort you. Develop the faith to see and recognize what the Lord is already doing in your life. He can't show you more until you see and recognize what He has already done.

And, if you have one of those "off" days, keep the conversation going. Know that the Lord will never condemn you for seeking Him, even if you mess up every now and then. If you feel condemned or cut off, this is coming from another source. Don't get discouraged and fall victim to it. Talk to the Lord. Tell Him you're discouraged. He's there to fix your problems. Don't be afraid to get "real" with the Lord, cause He'll get "real" with you. If He tells you to do something, or not to do something. Follow what He says. Soon, you will grow to love your time with Him, and you will love doing what He asks, knowing that it will always be to your benefit.

Everything I say here comes from personal experience, learning the hard way -- by trial and error, mostly error on my part. Recognize your mistakes and run to the Lord with them. Ask Him if He is there. Ask Him if He will talk to you. Ask Him what he would like you to do.

My life changed forever, when I prayed asked the Lord what He wanted me to do. His answer: "Talk to me."John Cranehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00382934036319968108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8985858969287915197.post-19317949136717072252017-05-15T12:42:34.091-06:002017-05-15T12:42:34.091-06:00I love these thoughts and suggestions!
